Vision Engineering has a decades-long legacy of producing high-precision microscopes and metrology hardware. As they prepared to launch their new flagship stereo microscope, they approached Dot ID to create a clear and distinctive logo system across the three product launches.
Working closely with Vision Engineering’s internal marketing team, we focused on maintaining a strong visual hierarchy while ensuring consistency across the range. The challenge was to develop a simple yet striking graphic theme that aligned with the brand.

Beyond aesthetics, placement was critical. Any logos or markings had to integrate harmoniously with the product’s design without interfering with its core functionality. By analysing the 3D form of the Mantis range, we identified strategic locations where the logos could enhance the product’s identity while remaining unobtrusive to the user experience.
Leveraging our deep technical expertise, we delivered precise artwork files and manufacturing guidelines, ensuring Vision Engineering’s production team could apply the graphics seamlessly and accurately.
